William Faber
William Faber is a senior physician leader and medical business consultant and serves on the Board of Teleios Collaborative Network (a network of hospice and palliative care providers) and Chairs its Clinical Integration Committee.
William has over thirty years of executive management experience in healthcare. His special areas of interest are population health management and the establishment and optimization of Clinically Integrated Networks, with a lifelong passion to produce better clinical outcomes while decreasing the waste and inefficiency that contribute to the high cost of healthcare.
He also currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Kootenai Care Network, a Clinically Integrated Network in Idaho. Former positions have included Chief Medical Officer of the El Camino Hospital system in California, Senior Vice President of General Electric Healthcare Consulting Group, and Executive Medical Director of the Rochester General Medical Group in New York. He has helped establish 10 Clinically Integrated Networks across the US and has held senior management and governance positions in several others, including Advocate Physician Partners in Chicago.
He earned his MD at Loma Linda University, where he also received his Master of Arts degree in Medical Ethics. His Master of Health Care Management degree is from the Harvard School of Public Health. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and practiced primary care medicine for twenty-seven years in a variety of settings.
Dr. Faber was recognized by Pearl Health as one of the Top 50 Value-Based Care Thinkers of 2022.
